As a new patient we strive to treat you the best way we can. Every new patient will meet with Dr. Berube for a review of their medical history, complete oral exam, and take the necessary digital X-rays to look for decay or other dental problems. We will perform a cancer screening and discuss your smile with you. We will also evaluate your periodontal (gum tissue) health.
We will evaluate your mouth tooth by tooth to get a complete understanding of your dental health. Then we will review with you all of the different treatment options and explain them to you fully. We believe it is important to educate you so you know exactly what is happening with your mouth. This way you can make informed, educated decisions regarding your oral care and smile.
Dr. Berube will do a thorough check of your mouth to look for any irregularities, including oral cancer. She will also check your TMJ and occlusion (bite) to insure there are no problem areas that need to be addressed.
During your first visit, we also want to know what you think. If you have any concerns with your smile, including dark, chipped, discolored or crooked teeth, please let us know!

A dental cleaning is the first step in preventing gum disease and the foundation for good oral health. Our hygienists have over 25 years of experience and are dedicated to treating you thoroughly and professionally.
Routine dental cleanings are extremely important when it comes to your oral health. It is important that you get your teeth cleaned at regular intervals to prevent future problems and to keep your teeth healthy. We make sure you get a very thorough cleaning, and provide you with instructions on the proper home care of your teeth.
Before your cleaning, we will review your medical history and take your blood pressure. We will take periodic X-rays of your teeth to assist Dr. Berube in her examination to ensure there are no cavities or other dental problems.
